Atlas is the trust spine of the Aegentis operating system. It treats identity as a continuous ledger: scoped issuance, attenuation, delegation with limits, and retirement across workflow lifetimes.
Every credential check leaves a signed verification trail. Each verification emits a cryptographic receipt — Atlas's primary export to Care, Lunra, Overwatch, and Verify.
Atlas does not store participant, provider, or evidence content. It governs who may access regulated artefacts, under what conditions, and with what receipt.
